New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the Hologram statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 125th birth anniversary at India Gate. PM Modi will confer the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Disaster Management Award in honour of his contribution to disaster management to people and institutions. On Friday, PM Narendra Modi had announced that a statue of granite of India's great son Subhas Chandra Bose would be installed at India Gate as a mark of gratitude.

PM had said that until Netaji's granite statue was ready, one of his hologram idols would be installed there. Advait Gadnayak, Director General, National Museum of Modern Art, New Delhi, has said that the proposed statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose to be installed at India Gate in the national capital will be 25 feet high and will be made of granite stone.

Gadnayak is making this idol. The statue of Subhas Chandra Bose will be installed in the chhatri where the statue of George V was earlier. The statue of George V was removed in 1968, since then this umbrella has been lying vacant. Holographic is a type of digital technology. It works like a projector in which anything can be given a 3D shape. This technology makes it feel as if the thing in front of you is real, but it is just a 3G digital image. With the use of this technique, now tourists and Delhiites will be able to live the feeling of Netaji's idol being there through a hologram till the installation of Netaji's idol at India Gate.
