Home Minister Amit Shah arrives at Ahmedabad airport, attends programs in Gandhinagar

Central Home Minister Amit Shah embarked at Ahmedabad airport on Thursday night. On a day trip, during which he will participate in an array of events including the dedication of a primary health center in a village in Gandhinagar district. He will also visit a temple on the occasion of Navratri.

According to the schedule released by the authorities, after reaching Ahmedabad, the union minister will visit Gandhinagar railway station in the afternoon and partake in the distribution of earthen cups made by women self-help groups at tea shops located in the station's premises. subsequently, Shah will dedicate a Primary Health Center (PHC) at Pansar village in Kalol taluka of Gandhinagar district. He is also scheduled to address a public meeting there.

From the stage, he would virtually inaugurate and perform ceremonies for a few projects in his constituency, including the beautification of a lake at Pansar. In the evening the BJP leader will reach his native town Mansa in Gandhinagar district and visit the government hospital.

Later, Shah will visit the city's Bahuchar Mata temple to offer prayers, a tradition that has been going on for many years, on the occasion of the nine-day Navratri festival that began on Thursday. Earlier on Thursday, he chaired a high-level meeting in New Delhi and discussed the overall security situation and anti-drone strategy across the country, including in Jammu and Kashmir.
