Kolkata: Amit Shah, Union Home Minister and former National President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is on a two-day visit to West Bengal. Today he reached Bankura. Here he paid tribute to freedom fighter, Bhagwan Birsa Munda. Along with attending the BJP organization meeting here, he will also have food at the tribal house. It is believed that Shah's visit is the beginning of preparations for next year's elections in the state.

In Bengal, Shah said, "I have been in Bengal since last night. Wherever I went, there is similar enthusiasm and strength. On one hand, there is fierce public outrage against Mamata's government. On the other hand, there is an expectation and reverence towards Narendra Modi Ji that in Bengal, change can only come under Modi Ji's leadership." The Home Minister further said, 'More than 80 schemes of Modi government benefiting the poor, Dalits and backward classes are not reaching the needy in West Bengal and it is time to bring change. I can assure that BJP is going to form the government in West Bengal in the coming days.'

Amit Shah further said, "Mamata government has run the cycle of repression, especially on BJP workers. I can definitely say that the end time of Mamata government has come and the BJP government is going to be formed with two-third majority in the coming days."
