The Commission on Delimitation of Jammu and Kashmir has said today that delimitation will be on the basis of 2011 census and 7 assembly seats will be increased and 24 seats in pakistan's illegally occupied Kashmir part will also be included. When the NDA government was formed for the second time at the Centre in 2019 under the leadership of PM Modi, Amit Shah was made home minister and about two months after the formation of the government, the Central Government had withdrawn Article 370, which gave special statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
