This attack on the independent press should be opposed and opposed'. In an old case of suicide, the Mumbai Police took action against the editor-in-chief of Republic TV Arnab Goswami. The Mumbai Police reached Goswami's residence and was arrested.

Arnab Goswami has been arrested by Maharashtra CID in 2018 in connection with the suicide investigation of interior designer Anvay Naik and his mother Kumud Naik. According to the information received, Goswami has been taken to Alibaug.
