Home Minister Amit Shah to visit Assam on February 11

Elections to the Assam Legislative Assembly is likely to be held in April-May this year. All the political parties are making efforts to form the government in the state. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to visit Assam tomorrow. According to the report, the home minister will visit to Koch royal scion Ananta Rai at Bongaigaon.

During the visit, Shah will be accompanied by Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal during his visit to Koch royal scion Ananta Rai?s home at Bongaigaon. Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will also accompany the home minister.  He will reportedly be having lunch at Ananta Rai?s residence.

This will be the second visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to the election-bound Assam in the last fortnight. Earlier on January 23, Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid a 2-day visit to the state.  During that visit, he held a crucial meeting with BJP party workers on January 24 evening. Later on January 24, Amit Shah also held two public meetings ? Kokrajhar and Nalbari.
