New Delhi: Amid the tense situation in Jammu and Kashmir, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit the Valley. According to sources, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Jammu and Kashmir for three days after the parliamentary session. Amit Shah will attend the party's programme in Kashmir on preparations for the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections.

Amit Shah will also hold a meeting of party workers in various districts of the Kashmir valley. It will also encourage cadres to become more and more members for the party's membership campaign. The Monsoon Session of Parliament has been extended till August 7. The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs has decided to go ahead with the Monsoon Session of Parliament by August 7.

A day earlier, the Jammu and Kashmir administration had issued an advisory directing Amarnath pilgrims and tourists to leave the valley at the earliest. The base camp of Amarnath Yatris in Jammu has also been asked to return the pilgrims. There is no option but to leave the base camp for the passengers and return home. The administration has been ordered to take a look at the threat of terror attack in the Valley.
