Mumbai: Maharashtra has witnessed a dangerous political uproar after the arrest of MP Navneet Rana and her MLA husband Ravi Rana. There is a lot of debate about this matter from Mumbai to Delhi. From the announcement of reading the Hanuman Chalisa to the news of the entire episode of his arrest, mp Navneet Rana has come clean on the allegations of misbehaviour with him.

On the allegations levelled by MP Navneet Rana of misbehaving with her in the police jail, Home Minister Patil has said that the allegations are completely baseless and false. Such statements are an attempt to tarnish the image of the government with the police and the administration. No one is allowed to disturb the law and order of the state.

Navneet Rana had written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla expressing his anguish. Navneet Rana wrote in the letter that I was taken to the police station on the 23rd. On April 23, I had to spend the whole night in the police station. At night I asked for water to drink several times, but i was not given water all night. Navneet further made a big allegation that the police staff present on the occasion said that I belong to the Scheduled Caste, so they cannot give me water in the same glass in which they drink. That is, I was not even given water to drink because of my caste. I want to emphasise that because of my caste, I was deprived of basic human rights.
