Srinagar: The Home Ministry is on high alert over the internal security and target killing issues in Jammu and Kashmir, and a high-level meeting on the issue was scheduled on Wednesday. Under the direction of Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, the vital meeting has been convened. Inform you that target killings in the Union Territory have intensified recently.

Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, along with intelligence officials, Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbagh Singh, NIA and CRPF DG and key security officials, are attending the crucial meeting summoned by the Home Ministry. The major topic of discussion during the conference is the recent target killings in Jammu & Kashmir, as well as the state's internal security. Terrorists have carried out target assassinations and killed a number of ordinary persons in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in recent months. After many killings, the task is to rethink security forces strategy. The local administration and security services have taken several precautionary precautions to prevent terrorist attacks, including providing additional security for workers.

Recent occurrences have resulted in the deaths of a large workforce. Security troops have also upped their retaliation. After nearly 14 years, Border Security Force (BSF) soldiers will rejoin other security forces in Kashmir to commence a counter-terrorism mission. In the initial phase, over two dozen BSF companies are deployed in Kashmir. Typically, each company has 90 to 100 officers and jawans.
