New Delhi: The central government has taken a tough stand on the controversial Twitter hashtag. The government has issued a final notice to Twitter on this issue, saying that action will be taken if Twitter does not listen to the government. This notice has been issued by the Ministry of Information Technology when 250 such Twitter accounts were restored on Monday, which was blocked on the complaint of the Ministry.

In this five-page notice, the government has shown strictness. The notice states that the content was posted on Twitter with the #ModiPlanningFarmerGenocide hashtag which was factually incorrect and intended to incite hatred. In the notice, the government said, "It is a motorized campaign that was run without any basis to create tension in the society." The notice also said that promoting genocide is not freedom of expression, it is a threat to law and order, Delhi has seen violence on Republic Day.

The farmers have been agitating against the three agricultural laws for the last 2 months. In particular, a large number of farmers are stuck on the borders of Delhi. Violence also occurred during the Farmers Tractor Parade in Delhi on 26 January. On the other hand, security is also being tightened at the borders.
