New Delhi: The Union Home Ministry has decided to blacklist about 800 people from Indonesia who are participating in the Tablighi Jamaat program. According to the information given by the sources, they will be blacklisted due to violation of visa rules. Along with blacklisting about 250 other foreigners, their visas will also be cancelled.

All of them had gone to participate in the recently held religious program in the Nizamuddin area of South Delhi. Many of them succumbed to coronavirus infection and they later endangered the lives of others as well. Not only this, but people of the five states of the country also participated in a large number in the Tablighi Jamaat program. The investigating agencies suspect that the 65-year-old man who died in Kashmir from Corona had also reached to attend the Tablighi Jamaat program.

People from Jammu and Kashmir, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Delhi also participated in this program of Tablighi Jamaat. All these are prone to spread of coronavirus. 1500 people from Tamil Nadu also participated in this program. About 200 people from Telangana and hundreds from Kashmir also participated.
