Acne is quite common in teenagers and especially in women, there are various causes of acne like oily skin, impure blood, and period. Acne doesn’t only affect your look but also is very painful and cause of worry for people.

Acne is an inflammatory skin condition that can develop when hair follicles are clogged with dead skin cells and oil. It can take the form of blackheads, pimples or whiteheads that appear on the chest, face and forehead. While acne in teens is most common, it can also affect people of any age.
Following are some easy home remedies to get rid of acne.

Aloe vera: Aloe vera contains sugar molecules, amino acids, and zinc, making it an excellent skin moisturizer and protectant. It is especially suitable for people who get dry skin from other anti-acne products.

Green tea: Green tea contains high concentrations of a group of polyphenol antioxidants. Some people with acne have too much sebum, or natural body oils, in their pores and not enough antioxidants. Antioxidants help the body break down chemicals and waste products that can damage healthy cells.

Cucumber Mask: This cooling and soothing mask will help in smoothening your skin, which can feel rough from acne. Mash one whole cucumber, strain the water, add 1 tablespoon of sugar, and mix well Apply to your face and leave it on for 10 minutes,  then wash with cold water.

Honey Mask: Honey has many healing properties. Therefore it is effective in treating acne. Before applying this mask, rinse your face with warm water and then apply the honey and leave it on the skin for 30 minutes. Rinse the honey off with warm water.

Turmeric Mask:  Brides in India traditionally use a turmeric mask before their wedding. This is likely due to the spice’s anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, and its ability to significantly improve the severity of skin conditions like acne and atopic. Mix 1/2 cup of chickpea flour and 2 tsp each turmeric powder, sandalwood powder, and ghee or oil, and then combine them with enough water to make a paste. Apply and leave on for 5 to 10 minutes.
