New Delhi: The Union Home Secretary has written a letter to the Chief Secretaries of all the states and ordered to take action on para number 5 of the Unlock-3 guidelines. According to this, no state can prohibit inter-state travel. This rule applies to vehicles carrying common man and goods from one place to another.

According to the guideline of Unlock-3, the common man or cargo vehicles will not have to take any approval from the state government to go from one state to another. The Union Home Secretary said in his letter that many districts and states have banned movement at the local level, which is causing problems to the people. The Union Home Secretary said that the ban on the movement of goods and the common man is having an impact on the supply chain, due to which the economic activities and employment are being adversely affected. The letter clearly states that there should be no restriction on the movement and the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs should be followed.

On July 29, the guideline of Unlock-3 was released. According to this, there will be no ban on movement of persons and goods within and outside the state. No separate permission, approval or e-permit will be required for such activities. The ban on movement at night has been lifted.
