Some have come to the shelter of this safehouse with their rosary, and some with their favourite dress. A lesbian couple has also come to the safehouse, having only a smartphone with photos and videos from their happy days of dating and dancing.

At the same time, a person named Mbezwe Nimiro Wilson, who took refuge in a shelter in Kampala, said, 'The government and people of Uganda are against our existence.' He said, 'People used to say that we would not leave you. You should kill homosexuals. We will kill you. We had no option but to leave the country.
