Honda 2Wheelers India has announced that Navi exports to the United States have begun. The exports will be handled by Honda de México, according to the company. Exports began in July of this year, and the company has already sent over 5000 CKD Navii bike kits to Mexico.

Honda launched the Navi crossover two-wheeler in the United States earlier this year. The Navi, according to the makers, combines the benefits of both a scooter and a motorbike. "I'm pleased to inform you that Honda Mexico has begun exporting Honda Navi to the United States. Navi delivers a world of endless possibilities for its riders all around the world," stated Atsushi Ogata, Managing Director, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India.

The Navi was developed in India specifically for the Indian market. However, the two-wheeler has attracted international interest as well. In India, though, the two-wheeler has already been phased out. "By introducing CKD kits to Honda Mexico, HMSI confirmed its commitment to being one of Honda's global manufacturing hubs. The Navi deliveries to the US market via Honda Mexico have bolstered our export portfolio in advanced countries, and the new expansion has provided us with another chance to achieve new global manufacturing quality standards in India," said Ogata.
