Automaker Honda will launch the BS6 model of its popular scooter Activa 125 on 11 September. This will be the company's first BS6 two-wheeler. Honda introduced the BS6 Activa 125 scooter a few months ago. Information about its launch date was not given at that time. The BS6 Activa looks similar to the BS4 model. The BS6 model has been updated with some cosmetic updates to give it a fresh look. These updates can show the scooter's headlight, apron and side panels.
In its statement, Honda said that the BS6 version of the new Activa 125 FI has been developed with 26 new patent applications. The new Activa 125 also has a 125cc engine, but it has the company's PGM-FI (Program Fuel Injection) and enhanced smart power technology. The company claims that the mileage of BS6 Activa will be higher than the current model i.e. BS4 version.
If we talk about Honda's new scooter, then many new features have been included in it. It has noiseless starter system, idol stop-start, external fuel filler cap, near-light switch and front glove box. Real time mileage information will also be available in the digital screen given on the scooter. Honda has said that the price of BS6 Activa will be about 10-15% more than the BS4 model. In such a situation, it is believed that the price of the new Activa can be around 70 thousand rupees.
