Vehicle manufacturer Honda has recalled the CBS variants equipped with disc brakes of its Activa 125, CB Shine, Grazia, and Aviator. The Japanese bike manufacturer said the 'Front Brake Master Cylinder' has a quality issue that could disrupt front wheel rotation and in some extreme cases may cause wheel jams. The front-wheel lockup can result in immediately lost control as compared to the rear wheel. Moreover, now that the monsoon is here, it is even easier to lose control on wet roads because traction is much less than dry roads.

According to media reports, Grazia, Aviator and Activa 125 have been given two-piston Capilar with 190mm discs. On the other hand, the CB Shine features a two-piston Capilar with 240mm disc. This is not the first time Honda has recalled scooters. Earlier in March 2018, the company also recalled Grazia, Aviator and Activa 125 due to the front-lined bolts.

Honda has recalled a total of 50,034 units of the Aviator (DISC), Activa 125 (DISC), Grazia (DISC), CB Shine (SELF DISC) CBS variants this time. The company says that it is extremely important for them to protect and relax customers. Honda will voluntarily inspect these models made between February 4, 2019, and July 3, 2019, as a precaution measure. The company will replace the suspicious portion of the affected vehicles without any need and will charge for the same. E-mail/email Will contact via SMS. In addition, the customer can find himself by visiting the dealership. Honda can also verify its vehicle's vehicle by revoking its vehicle's vehicle identification number (VIP) by visiting 2Wheeler's website.
