The Honda Activa 6G has been launched in India on Wednesday. This is the first scooter of the 6th generation launched in the scooter sector.In December last year, Honda Activa lagged behind in terms of sales and slipped from the first number to the third number, the new record is expected with the launch of this scooter. Scooter has been given many new upgrades, this new Honda Activa has a BS 6 Complete 109cc engine.

In addition to the upgrade to the BS6, this engine includes a fuel injection system instead of the carburetor. The new Activa 6G engine generates a power of 7.68 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 8.79 Nm peak torque at 5,250 rpm. The company claims that the new Activa will get 10% more mileage than the old model. The power of Activa 6G is slightly less as compared to Activa 5G. The BS4 engine given in the Activa 5G generates a power of 7.96hp.

Talking about its features, then this new scooter of Honda has a new silent-start ACG motor, which was given by the company for the first time in the Activa 125 launched last year. The new Activa includes other features including semi-digital instrument console, multi-function key with the remote hatch opening. The new model has a longer seat and longer wheelbase compared to the Activa 5G. It looks quite stylish in appearance.
