The company has not updated its Honda CB Hornet 160R as per the new BS norms. Honda did not want to continue it, so now the Honda CB Hornet 200R is going to be replaced in place of CB Hornet 160R which will be more comfortable than before. Honda CB Hornet 200R will be a premium commuter bike that will come with great power with new features. The company has done a lot of work on the styling of the Honda CB Hornet 200R to make its look more and more sporty and beautiful.
This is Honda's first 200 cc bike. Prior to this, the company has not launched any bike in the 200 cc segment. Talking about the competition, Honda CB Hornet 200R will give tough competition to the already existing TVS Apache RTR 200, Bajaj Pulsar NS200, KTM Duke 200, Benelli TNT 200 in India. In terms of engine and power, in Honda CB Hornet 200R, the company will give 199.5 cc engine which can generate maximum power of 21 to 23 HP and torque of 18 to 19 Nm. This engine will be equipped with speed gearbox. The CB Hornet 200R can be given dual channel ABS. It will be a naked bike that will be available in black, gray, blue and red (exposed) colors. The starting price of this bike in India can be 1.40 (ex-showroom).
