The corona epidemic has led to huge inflation in the prices of many things in the country. The same meanwhile if you are planning to buy a car is bad news for you. Most car companies have hiked the price of their vehicles in August. Auto companies have decided to increase prices due to expensive raw materials. Maruti has hiked prices only last month. The same Honda Car India has increased the price of many of its models. These cars have become expensive since August 2. The cars that Honda has increased in price include petrol variants of Amaze, Jazz, WR-V, and City. The price has been increased from Rs 9000 to Rs 16,000. Prices of some diesel variants have also been increased from Rs 80,000 to Rs 1 lakh. Honda Cars have hiked the price of cars for the third time in 2021. Honda had earlier increased the price by Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 in February and April.

Tata Motors has also increased the price of its cars. The company has raised the price of many of its major models by 0.8 percent from August 3. However, the company has reported that cars of its 'New Forever' model, which may have been booked by or before August 31, will not have any impact on their prices. Tata Motors' portfolio consists of models like Tiago, Tigor, Nexon, Altrose, Hairier. Earlier in July, Maruti Suzuki India had increased the price of cars of many of its models to Rs 15,000. Toyota Kirloskar Motor has also increased the price of its cars. Since August 1, the company has increased the prices of Toyota Innova Crysta by 2 percent. The ex-showroom rate of this car starts at Rs 19.35 lakh in Delhi.

The same Kawasaki Motor has also increased the prices of their bikes. Since August 1, 2021, the prices of bikes have increased from Rs 6,000 to Rs 15,000. Kawasaki is the first premium bike manufacturer to make the prices of its bikes costlier this quarter. the country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India had hiked the price of its cars in July. The company had hiked the prices of variants CNG its hatchback Swift and other models by up to Rs 15,000.
