New Delhi: Honor's latest smartphone Honor 80 GT and Pad V8 Pro tablet both have been unveiled. With a 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, up to 16GB of RAM, and 66W fast-charging, the 80 GT is a gaming-centric device.
Meanwhile, a mid-range tablet called the Pad V8 Pro stands out for its Dimensity 8100 chip, 144Hz LCD screen, eight speakers and 10,050mAh battery.
HONOR is flourishing in Asian markets. The independent phone company is currently trying to quickly regain its international reputation after breaking ties with its parent company (Huawei).

The former Huawei-owned subsidiary has been actively launching a variety of products in its home market of China and other markets overseas. Buyers in between the price range will be served by the 80 GT and the Pad V8 Pro.
The HONOR 80 GT sports thin bezels, an under-display fingerprint scanner, and a top-centred punch-hole cut-out. It sports a rectangular camera bump at the back and comes in Meteor Blue, White, and Interstellar Black colours.
The device features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) 10-bit OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10, 1,400 nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 2,160Hz PWM dimming.

The HONOR 80 GT is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. 4,386mm2 VC cooling area has been given.
The phone runs Magic UI 7.0, which is based on Android 12. There is a 4,800mAh battery inside with 66W fast-charging. In terms of connectivity, it offers 5G, dual-SIM, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a Type-C port.
The HONOR Pad V8 Pro sports a simple tablet design, eight speakers, and support for Magic Pencil 3. The device sports a 12.1-inch WQXGA (1600x2560 pixels) TFT LCD screen with 144Hz refresh rate, IMAX Enhanced certification, and peak brightness of 600 nits.
It packs a 10,050mAh battery with 35W fast-charging, MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and more.
The 13MP (f/2.0) rear camera of HONOR Pad V8 Pro includes LED flash. It has a 5MP selfie camera in the front. The rear camera of the device is capable of recording 4K videos.

HONOR 80 GT will be introduced from January 1, 2023. Its 12GB/256GB and 16GB/256GB variants are priced at CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 39,200) and CNY 3,599 (roughly Rs. 42,800) respectively.
The Pad V8 Pro will cost CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 30,880), CNY 2,899 (roughly Rs. 34,445) and CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 39,200) for 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB configurations from December 30. , respectively.
