Honor is going to announce its 9X and 9X Pro on July 23, and today we will discuss the estimated official versions of both variants of the line. For rendering of MySmartPrice, which is almost certainly real, then both the 9X and 9X Pro will have full display from edge to edge, and there will be no space for a selfie camera in front. The new render appears to be equipped with a hidden camera for the selfie. We also expect that both glass and metal frames will be built on appliances. Otherwise, the most obvious difference between the devices is the triple camera on the 9X Pro and the dual camera setup on the 9X. Moreover, Honor can only offer these shiny glass covers for the 9X Pro, as seen in this purple color. It is similar to the chevron pattern that was first introduced with Honor 20, but its shape is "X".

The 9X features a 48-megapixel + 2-megapixel camera, and the 9X Pro triple camera features a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel (supposedly wide) + 2 megapixel camera. In the meantime, we expect the 9X Pro to have a 6.59-inch display with full HD+ resolution, and the 9X may be slightly smaller, but with the same resolution. Both the phones are powered by a 3900 mAh battery and the entry level is expected to work on HiSilicon's latest Kirin 810 chipset.

According to the report, the 9X will be offered in the 6 GB + 128 GB version, while the Honor 9 X Pro will come in a fully loaded configuration of 8 GB + 256 GB. Not bad for the device that is supposed to be the entry level - although the "Pro" name in the title can certainly lead this guy out of the high price range. Honor 9X, 9X Pro and Honor Band 5 are expected to be announced on the same stage on July 23 in China.
