Honor 20i has been launched in China as a refreshed version of Honor 10i which is also called as Honor 10 Lite. Its key highlights include a 6.21-inch bezel-less display, triple rear cameras and octa-core Kirin 710 chipset. The company announced the price and availability details of the smartphone at the launch event today. The Honor 20i price has been set at a RMB 1,599 (which is roughly Rs 16,600) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model and RMB 1,899 ( roughly Rs. 19,700) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. There is also a 4GB RAM + 128GB storage option that has been priced at RMB 1,599 ( roughly Rs. 16,600), identical to the 64GB variant. The Honor 20i will also be available in Aape edition with 6GB RAM + 256GB storage option which has been priced at RMB 2,199 (roughly Rs. 23,000).
The 6GB + 128GB and the special edition Honor 20i will be available for sale starting from May while other models will go on sale in China from tomorrow. It will be available in three colour options- Gradient Blue, Gradient Red, and Magic Night Black.
The phone sports a 6.21-inch full HD+ LCD (1080xx2340 pixels) dewdrop notch display with 90 per cent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by octa-core Kirin 710 chipset coupled with Mali-G51 GPU while the smartphone comes in 4GB + 128GB storage, 6GB + 128GB storage, 6GB + 64GB storage and 6GB + 256GB storage options, all expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. For optics, there is a 32-megapixel AI selfie shooter, on the front, there is a 24-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel third sensor for depth sensor. The camera comes with features such as AI beauty, night scene mode, portrait mode, and panorama.
Honor 20i runs on Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9 operating software. Further, it packs a 3400mAh battery and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Other connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 3.5mm audio jack support, Bluetooth v4.2, Micro-USB port, and GPS. It measures 154.8 x 73.64 x 7.95mm, and weigh 164 grams.
