Chinese smartphone maker Honor has launched two new tablets Honor Pad 5 (8 inches) and Honor Pad 5 (10.1 inches). Both of these tablets have been made available on Flipkart since July 4. The tablet is due to compete with the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e in India. Both Honor Pad 5 (8 inches) and Honor Pad 5 (10.1 inches) tablets come with two storage options 32GB and 64GB. The Honor Pad 5 (8 inches) product is priced at Rs 15,499 while the 4GB+64GB variant is priced at Rs 17,499. The Honor Pad 5 (10.1 inches) 3GB+32GB variant is priced at Rs 16,999 while the 4GB+64GB variant is priced at Rs 18,999. On both these tablets, you are offered an additional discount of Rs 500 with no-cost EMI.
This tablet works on Android 9 Pie based on Magic UI 2.0. It features an 8-inch Full HD Plus display with a resolution of 1920X1200 pixels. It is powered by a Kirin 710 SOC processor. You can increase its internal storage to 512GB via a microSD card. Other features include an 8-megapixel camera in the front and back. It comes with dual stereo speakers, Dual Atoms Surround Sound support.
This tablet works on Android 8 Oreo-based on EMUI 8.0. It features a 10.1-inch Full HD Plus display with a resolution of 1920X1200 pixels. It is powered by a Kirin 659 SOC processor. You can increase its internal storage to 512GB via a microSD card. Other features include an 8+2 megapixel dual camera. It comes with dual stereo speakers. In addition, it has fingerprint scanners made available for the convenience of customers.
