India's Hop Electric Mobility has completed a strategic round of $2.6 million under the ongoing pre-series funding of USD 10 million. The company has been able to build 105 retail contact centres with more than 6,200 scooters plying on the roads in 2021. Hop Electric Mobility is moving ahead with a target of 10 times growth this year with the newly raised capital.

The company has left no impact on its flagship product Hop Oxo, an upcoming modern electric motorbike. Under the #OXOSNEAKPEEK programme, the company has completed 75,000 km of road tests across 14 states and is now gearing up for its commercial production. Hop Oxo has successfully completed all tests in the AII, including the AIS 156 for the battery. Hop Oxo is also being indigenously designed and developed in compliance with FAME II norms. The company is planning to launch it in late June/early July.

As far as HOP OXO is concerned, the official space sheet is yet to be revealed, but it is going to come with lithium-ion batteries. 100 km/h in an electric motorcycle  It can be a top speed of up to an hour and will be able to cover a distance of up to 160 km on a single charge. 

In addition to meeting the requirements of the general user group, Hop Electric Mobility is engaged in developing another electric scooter. Internally it has been named Hop Life 2.0. Iitere Roorkee alumni and Forbes 30 Under 30 Hop set up by Ketan Mehta (CEO), Nikhil Bhatia (COO) and Rahil Gupta (CTO) currently has a strong team of 140 people engaged in working.
