In a recent incident that, A shocking case of honour killing has been reported Bihar's Gaya. Reports said the family of a girl, upon learning that she was having an affair with a boy from another caste, killed the two. The girl's father, and her maternal and paternal uncles are suspected to be involved in the murders. The police have arrested the three and are interrogating them. Reports said the three have admitted to the crime, but the same could not be confirmed.

 Reports said the girl's family cut the bodies into pieces and burned them using petrol. The crime was committed along Paimar river in Wazirganj. Police have found some remains and have begun the investigation.

 As per details available, the boy used to give tuitions to the girl. It was during this time that the two fell in love. The duo later got married at a temple without informing the families. When the girl's family came to know about this, they even got the police to arrest him.

Earlier,  when the boy was released from custody, he set up a meeting with his wife. While he was on his way to the venue of the meeting, he was kidnapped by the girl's family and taken to a secluded place near the river. The girl was also brought there and murdered brutally along with the boy.
