Bhopal: The health department in MP's capital Bhopal has opened a Sanjeevani clinic inside the accessible toilet by conducting a new trial. This is greatly benefiting the slum dwellers. However, the clinic was started in the year 2020. But people were reluctant to get their treatment here. Slowly individuals are beginning to understand its importance. Because they don't have to go to the community health centre for minor diseases. Around 40 to 50 patients are coming here every day and getting their treatment done.
Before the clinic started, there was a heap of dirt due to the closed toilets here. Now, be it the patients who are undergoing treatment in this clinic or the doctors on duty here, all are very happy with the arrangements here. The clinic opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m. Built-in public Toilet, this clinic opens at 9 am and people come to seek counselling for minor diseases by 4 pm. Here, apart from ENT, OPD, screening, maternal and child health, adolescent health, a variety of tests are provided at no charge.
It is being said that initially the building was not being received to open this clinic. Therefore, a clinic was started here by repairing the closed accessible toilet. People are coming here in large numbers to treat themselves and their children. OPD consists of patients who undergo common diseases, blood pressure, sugar tests. Anc, PNC testing is providing treatment to women and children.
