On the demand of viewers for some time, Doordarshan has decided to telecast its superhit show 'Ramayana'. After Colors, now the name of Star Plus is also being added. Along with this, the Hindi TV channel Star Plus has decided to broadcast the serial 'Radhakrishna' from its own group Star India and web series 'Hostages' from OTT platform Hotstar on its own channel to retain fresh content. The serial based on 'Radhakrishna' can be broadcast from Monday to Friday at seven thirty. The show focuses on the love story of Lord Krishna and Radha, with Sumedha Mugdalkar as Krishna and Mallika Singh as Radha.

The second show 'Hostages' is a family story. There is a surgeon in the family, Dr. Meera Anand (Tisca Chopra), who is going to perform the operation of the Chief Minister.
