Kanpur, Today three children of a family were killed as the mud house they were living in collapsed following rains in the area. The wall and roof of the house of Shiv Naraine collapsed this morning in Ambarpur village of Rura in which Naraine's three children killed, said Kanpur (Rural) SP Pushpanjali Mathur.

The deceased were identified as Nisha 12, Deepak 10 and Deepchandra 8 - who were sleeping in the house at the time of the incident were killed.

In the areas of heavy rainfall considerable erosion is caused to mud walls which are either partially destroyed during rains or collapse on account of heavy rains or floods.
