Along with developing a vaccine for corona, scientists are trying to find out where the deadly virus originated from. Scientists have found in a study that the corona is capable of entering animals and infecting humans. Scientists have concluded this study after doing a genetic analysis of the corona and its patterns in animals.

In addition, scientists have found that the closest virus to the corona is the virus that infects bats. The team of researchers also included researchers from the University of Texas at El Paso, USA. This study is published in Science Advances. It states that the SARS-CoV-2 virus's ability to infect humans is associated with the exchange of a key gene from the corona that infects pangolin.

The scientists further said that this deadly virus can be present in the cells of the infected person by changing its genetic properties. This is the ability of this virus due to which it can enter from one species to another. According to scientists, this virus has a capacity that it can enter every cell. We can also say that it has a key that is capable of opening locks of all types of cells. Feng Gao, a researcher at Duke University in the US, said that corona, like SARS or Mars, is capable of altering its genetic properties. Due to these qualities, it can make humans sick. Scientists claim that this study will help prevent future epidemics from the virus. Not only this, but this study will also be helpful in making vaccines for this virus.
