Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Finance Minister Suresh Khanna has presented the first budget of Yogi Sarkar 2.O on Thursday. In this budget of more than Rs 6 lakh crore, many announcements have been made keeping in mind the youth, farmers and women. Praising this budget, CM Yogi Adityanath said that out of 130 promises made in the Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra, 97 promises have been fulfilled in this budget. On the other hand, the opposition did not like this budget. While Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo and former CM Mayawati described this budget as frivolous, Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav taunted that this budget is the sixth, but everything has decreased in it.

Mayawati said on the budget that there is nothing in this budget to remove poverty and unemployment. Mayawati tweeted, "Prima facie, the budget of the UP government is like a blind well in terms of poverty, unemployment and the pitiful condition prevailing in the public interest and public welfare, especially in the case of poverty, unemployment and pitiable condition, due to which the people of the state are suffering." The possibility of liberation from the impoverished life is getting eroded. In another tweet, the BSP supremo said, 'To bring a little achche din in the lives of crores of people of UP, where were the basic works which should have been done on priority basis by the so called double engine government.

Clearly there is lack of intention, then from where will such a policy be made. How long will the game of throwing dust in the public eye go on?' At the same time, talking to the media after the presentation of the budget, Akhilesh Yadav said that this is not a budget but a partition. Akhilesh Yadav said that the development is moving only in figures, while the reality is that the youth is unemployed and inflation is at its peak. Youth is roaming around unemployed. Children's education was ruined. The web of development is being shown only in the figures. The SP chief questioned that by 2022, there was talk of doubling the income of farmers. We are in 2022. What happened to that promise?
