Doha: The Indian Mango Festival, also known as Indian Hamba, started with great excitement at Souq Waqif, attracting many mango lovers.

The event opened with notable guests, including Ibrahim Fakhroo, Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Nasser Rashid Al Naimi, Managing Director of the Public Establishment for Organising Exhibitions and Conferences. Ambassador Vipul and other important Qatari figures also attended.

The Embassy of India in Doha, Qatar, was pleased with the large number of visitors, emphasizing the significant interest in the various types of mangoes displayed.

Mango fans flocked to the festival, creating a lively and festive atmosphere, showing their shared love for this delicious fruit.

"The Indian Mango Festival (Indian Hamba) was inaugurated at Souq Waqif with the presence of Chief of Protocol MOFA, Ibrahim Fakhroo, MD PEO, Nasser Rashid Al Naimi, Ambassador Vipul, and many ambassadors and Qatari dignitaries. The event is attracting a good number of mango enthusiasts," stated the Embassy of India Doha, Qatar.

Throughout the festival, visitors enjoyed a sensory experience with the flavors and aromas of Indian mangoes, known for their sweetness and richness. The festival featured a wide variety of mangoes, from traditional favorites to rare types, showcasing their importance in Indian cuisine and culture.
