Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has given information regarding investment, GDP, and the economy in UP in a TV interview on Friday (February 3). CM Yogi has said that the growth rate of Uttar Pradesh is more than 8 percent, which is running above the national average. This is a positive sign. Uttar Pradesh has achieved success in doubling the GDP within the last 6 years. Per capita income has doubled. It takes time to bring a sick thing back to normal and then to move forward rapidly. During this time there was also Corona, now more good results will come out.  

Yogi Adityanath said that the work done in the double-engine government has taken the state on the path of development in the last six years. He said that in 2018, investments worth more than Rs 4 lakh crore came in the Global Investors Summit. He said that in the last 6 years, there has been very rapid economic growth in UP. Today UP is one of the major investment destinations in the country. UP has surplus revenue, fertile land, good administration, law and order, cheap-skilled manpower, and a strong base for MSMEs. CM Yogi said that MSME has made UP an export hub, and the state has its own land bank. Major infrastructure development projects have been completed in the state in the last six years. New expressways, airports, and metros have been constructed in these, which are attracting investment. 

On the question asked about connectivity in different areas, CM Yogi said that UP has recovered from regional imbalance. Today the connectivity of UP has become the best. Every district in UP has better connectivity. Will be even better in the future. Purvanchal, Bundelkhand Express has started. There are airports in Lucknow, Varanasi, and Kushinagar. In 3-4 years, Bundelkhand and Western UP will be seen coming in economic prosperity. New airports are being built. Every investor is excited about investing in UP. The UP team went to the forums of the world. Global Investors Summit is going to be organized in UP on 10th February.
