A man will go to which 'Gati' is determined by his / her karma. In such a situation, there are three types of movements of the soul after death - 1. Udharav Gati 2. Sithir Gati and 3. Aadhogati. It is divided into Gati and Agati.

1. Agati: A person does not get salvation in the fire and that person has to be born again. There are four types of Agati- 1.Shinodarka, 2.Bhumodharka, 3.Agati and 4.Durgati.

* Kshinodarka: In the process of Kshinodarka, the creature again comes to the death world as a saint and lives like a saint.

* Bhoomodark: In Bhoomodark, he finds happy and opulent life.

* Agati: In agati, the lowly animal goes into life.

* Durgati: In the speed, he gets life like insect.

2. Gati: In Gati, an organism has to go to a world and under the movement four loks are given: 1. Brahmaloka, 2. Devaloka, 3. Pitriloka and 4. Narkaloka . With this, the Jiva goes to the above realms according to his deeds.

* Brahmaloka: The same person reaches here who has attained moksha by doing yoga and meditation.

* Devlok: Only the holy soul reaches here. After some time, he has to be born again in the human vagina.

* Pitrilok: Here too, the saintly soul reaches where she is born again after spending time with her fathers happily.

* Narkalok: Only water or evil spirits reach here. She too takes birth in any vagina again after staying here for some time.

With this, according to the Puranas, the soul travels through three paths. 1.Archi Marg, 2.Dhoom Marg and 3. Utpatti-Vinash Marg

* Archi Marg Brahmalok: Archi Marg is for the journey of Brahmalok and Devalok.

* Dhoomarga Pitrilok: Dhoomarga is for the journey of Pitrilok.

* Origin-destruction route: Origin-destruction route is for the journey of hell. This journey is like a nightmare.
