Salman is the last of the three Bollywood Khans to blow out 52 candles on the birthday cake. Aamir Khan celebrated his birthday in March this year while in November Shah Rukh celebrated his 52nd birthday with a lavish house party at his Alibaug farmhouse.

‘Tum jio hazaaron saal.... I wish him all the best. I won't be able to meet him tomorrow because my children are here and I want to spend time with them. But we will celebrate when he comes back. We can celebrate Salman Khan's birthday month long," Shah Rukh as saying at the event. Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan are parents to three children who break Internet - Aryan, 19, Suhana, 17, and little AbRam, 4. Suhana studies in Mumbai's day-boarding Dhirubhai Ambani International School while Aryan is studying films at the University of South California. They are only home for long stays during vacations.

The Karan Arjun duo, who have also famously shared screen space in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Hum Tumhare Hai Sanam, hinted at another possible collaboration at the Star Screen Award in 2016. Speaking to reporters at the event, Shah Rukh said: "We are here. Someone will bring a film, we will do something" while Salman agreed: "It will happen. If some good, knowledgeable writer comes up with something, we will definitely do it." Salman and Shah Rukh also famously feature in the history of top-profile Bollywood friendships, they had a fall out in 2008 and publicly patched up at Salman's sister Arpita Khan's wedding in November 2014.
