Be it truth, be it beauty, be it benevolence or be it any place and phase of life, Shiva is present. In our time-poor days, we usually miss this Shiva Principle from which we have come, in which we live and into which we will dissolve.

Today's Maha Shivratri is to believe and remind us that we are Shiva. How? The spiritual story we say 'Shivoham, Shivoham' means 'I am Shiva, I am that principle, I am the truth, eternity, beauty and benevolence.'

The message behind this is that- Wake the Divinity that is Deep within you.

Eating light food or fariyal or not eating too much with meditation. It is believed anciently that this helps in the fulfilment of your wishes and desires. Like a sponge in water or we can say rasgulla in syrup when the mind and body are resting in the Shiva Tattva, small wishes get fulfilled effortlessly.
