New Delhi: In today's era, Aadhaar card has become our most important document. Aadhaar card is mandatory in all necessary works. Sometimes it happens that when people change their old mobile number to a new number or for some other reason they want to change their mobile number to Aadhaar card. We're going to tell you a very easy way to update your mobile number online on your own.
If you need to change the old mobile number in your Aadhaar card, first go to Google and search UIDAI. Thereafter, website http://ask.uidai.gov.in/. As soon as the website is open, you see a few options at the top such as My Aadhaar, About UIDAI, Ecosystem, Media & Resoure and Contact & Support. Then enter your phone number and captcha on the home page. After this process, you need to click on the send OTP button and process to get OTP on your number.
Enter the OTP on your phone by filling it in the box on the right. As soon as you do this, a new page will open on which the Aadhaar service will be written. This is also the option of update base. Click on it. You will then see all these options on the new page. Here you can do whatever updates you want. If you want to change your mobile number or link the mobile number to Aadhaar, click on what do yo want to update by filling in the detail here.
You have to click on the mobile number select as soon as you do so. Then the new page will open and ask you for a captcha. Here too, you have to complete this process by sending OTP to your phone number. You must also verify the OTP on your mobile number. Then click Save & Lead. Please read the notifications that came before submitting thoroughly, then submit. After this process, book your appointment from your nearest base centre. In the next step, you need to go to the base centre around you and pay an updation fee of Rs 25. Also, mobile number updation information has to be provided. With this process, your mobile number will be updated to the Aadhaar card.
