Do not keep bleach and water solution for more than a day, because bleach loses its power and even the container in which you keep it, bleach also spoils it. Use alcohol mixed solution for at least 70 per cent to clean the same cardboard, plastic or hard space. First clean the place with water and detergent. With this you can easily clean up.
