The Central Government has now taken a major step to curb manipulation of electoral rolls and bogus voters and to check misuse of voter ID cards. Let me tell you that the Central Government has been asked to take forward PM Modi's Digital India campaign as well as link Aadhaar and Voter ID cards to protect people's data. It is voluntary at the moment but can be made mandatory soon. So today we are going to tell you how you can link these two.
How to link Voter ID Card (EPIC) with Aadhaar - Link online through NVSP portal - NVSP (https://www, Government of India.nvsp.in/) Go to the portal, then click on the search button, fill in your details like state, district, name, date of birth, father's name, etc. Now check the details you have filled in and click the search button, your EPIC details will be shown on the screen. Then on the left-hand side, you will get the option to feed the Aadhaar number, click on it. This will be followed by a pop-up page where you need to feed the name as an Aadhaar card. Now fill in Aadhaar number, EPIC number, registered mobile number, or registered email address. Check the details and press the "Submit" button. It will then send an SMS message if the process is completed on your behalf. This SMS will tell whether the process has been completed on your behalf or not. A message that will appear on the screen confirms that your application is registered as per requirement.
