New Delhi: The global epidemic coronavirus havoc in the country is increasing day by day. The government has extended the deadline to link PAN to Aadhaar, to 31 March 2021. This is relief news for those who have not yet been able to get Aadhaar linked to PAN due to the Corona epidemic.

As per the new deadline, people will be able to link their Aadhaar till 31 March 2021, while the PANs which are not linked till this date will be disabled. In addition, fines may also have to be paid. You can link your PAN number to the 12-digit Aadhaar card number through the e-filing portal http://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home.

To link your PAN card to Aadhaar number, first you have to go to the e-filing website, here you have to click on the Quick Links tab on the left, after which you will have to go to the option. After this, you will be given the option to know the status for those who have requested for PAN-Aadhaar linking. After this, you have to click on the view link Aadhaar Status on the page that opens. You will have information on where your PAN is linked or not.
