Every parent wishes that their child should excel in studies and top every exam. However, just focusing on studies is not enough for children to score good marks in exams. For this, they also have to be taught some important things.

Tips to make your children smart

If you want your child to be smart and intelligent, then some simple methods should be adopted:

  1. Set small goals

To make children knowledgeable, help them set small goals. This will keep the children motivated and interested in their studies.

  1. Make a time table

If you burden your child with too much study, he/she will get bored quickly and his/her studies will be affected. Instead, make a timetable and motivate children to study accordingly. This will help them study systematically.

  1. Keep your mobile phone away while studying

When the child is studying, remove all things from near him that can distract him. In particular, keep mobile phones, TV, and other distractions away during study time.

  1. Teach your favorite subject first

Ask the child to first study the subject he likes. This will keep his interest intact and he will be enthusiastic about studying. Later, focuses on the subjects he likes less. This will enable the child to complete one chapter of each subject in 2-3 hours.

  1. take oral and written tests

Take an oral test of the subjects taught on the first day so that the child remembers them and gets good marks. Along with this, assess their progress by taking a written test every week.

  1. Maintain a positive attitude

Encourage the child with positive thinking. If he does not do well on a paper, do not put him under pressure. Rather, explain and motivate him. Ask the child to prepare positively beforehand so that he does not panic.

  1. Avoid rote learning

Most children read the same line repeatedly and memorize it while studying. This often makes them confused while writing answers. Instead, ask children to understand the questions and write them two to three times. This will help them understand better and they will be able to score good marks. To make them a great and top scorer, it is important to inculcate the right study habits in them. Encourage them with small goals, a time timetable, and positive thinking. Instead of rote learning, focus on understanding the studies. This will not only help your child score good marks but also top the entire class.
