Rice water, which is also commonly called 'maad', is rich in carbohydrates. It is not only beneficial for our health but also for our skin and hair in many ways. Rice water contains a lot of vitamins and minerals. Due to ferulic acid, it is also rich in antioxidants.

The carbohydrate in rice water called inositol makes your hair strong, reduces friction in hair and maintains flexibility in hair. Washing hair with rice water can be used as a shampoo or conditioner. Applying it to the hair maintains the natural glow of the hair. After shampooing wash hair with rice water. For this, pour rice water on the hair, massage it with light hands in the scalp, and after some time wash the hair with clean water. Use it 1 or 2 times a week. For better results, if you wish, apply it on the hair and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes, and then wash the hair with clean water.

How to prepare rice water?
Soak raw rice in water for half an hour or overnight (as long as you have it). Then strain the rice and keep the water aside. Rice water is ready for use. Make rice in a pot instead of a pressure cooker and when the rice is cooked, separate the water from it. This water of Milky White-colored rice is full of important nutrients.
