Howie Mandel and Lilly Singh have been named as two of the judges for Canada's Got Talent, which will air again nine years after its first and final season. The sitcom will now appear on City TV after a one-season run in 2012, followed by a pandemic spinoff last year.

According to Deadline, the show will be hosted by country music singer Lindsay Ell, and will include A Little Late star Singh and AGT judge Mandel, as well as music label president and producer Kardinal Offishall and WWE star Trish Stratus.  Canada's Got Talent, on the other hand, is produced by Fremantle, Syco Entertainment, and McGillivray Entertainment Media Inc. Executive producers include Scott McGillivray, Angela Jennings, and Mike Bickerton, with Jonathan Payne serving as showrunner.

According to Deadline, "This dynamic and formidable combination of globally-celebrated Canadian giants — Howie Mandel, Lilly Singh, Kardinal Offishall, Trish Stratus, and Lindsay Ell – set the scene for CGT to unearth the nation's most distinctive and mind-blowing performers."

Scott McGillivray remarked, "This bunch of blockbuster talent spans music, comedy, cinema, television, and sports entertainment." "They've been discovering, fostering, and encouraging performers for decades between them." We're excited to see which new incredible artist they champion on the CGT stage." "Canadians may once again hit the stage and hear the golden buzzer as Citytv has commissioned 'Canada's Got Talent' in association with Fremantle, SYCO Entertainment, and McGillivray Entertainment Media Inc," according to a news release from the summer.
