WEST BENGAL: In a surprising turn of events, two coaches of the Howrah-Mumbai Mail train disconnected from each other in the vicinity of Uluberia, located within West Bengal's Howrah district, on a Friday evening. This unexpected incident prompted swift action from officials who quickly responded to the situation, commencing immediate repair work.

Efforts were promptly directed at restoring the coupling between the coaches, allowing the train to resume its journey without prolonged delay. Aditya Kumar Choudhary, the Chief Public Relations Officer of South Eastern Railway, affirmed, "Upon receiving notification of the incident, our team swiftly arrived at the scene. Repair work was initiated, enabling the train's timely departure. An inquiry will be conducted to ascertain the root cause of this occurrence."

The incident, while resolved efficiently, raises concerns regarding the circumstances leading to the uncoupling and emphasizes the need for a thorough investigation to prevent any potential recurrence.
