Kullu: A scuffle broke out near Bhuntar airport last Wednesday between Himachal Pradesh chief minister Jairam Thakur's security personnel and police personnel of Kullu district. It also included a Superintendent of Police (SP) and an Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP). A video is currently going viral on social media. Kullu SP Gaurav Singh is seen slapping ASP Brijesh Sood in the video. In fact, Sood is in charge of the chief minister's security and the Chief Minister's Personal Security Officer (PSO) Balwant Singh thrashed the SP. In this video, district police personnel are asking why the SP was beaten up.

Recently, the police headquarters in Shimla made a statement saying, "The incident took place during the visit of Chief Minister Thakur and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to Kullu. At the same time, State Director General of Police (DGP) Sanjay Kundu said, "Three officers involved in the incident have been removed and sent on compulsory leave till the investigation is over. On the other hand, the DGP said in a statement that "Now DIG (Central Range) Madhusudan will take charge of Kullu SP while Sood will be replaced by ASP Puneet Raghu".

According to reports, some locals had gathered there and were shouting slogans in support of Gadkari. Meanwhile, people gathered were shouting slogans in support of Gadkari's candidaoy as prime minister and a clash broke out. Let us tell you that the chief minister's security personnel objected to the gathering and then there was a heated argument and then Kullu SP Gaurav Singh slapped ASP Brijesh Sood.
