HP GOVERNMENT REFUSES TO PROVIDE SECURITY TO PAKISTANI TEAM IN T20 WORLDCUP MATCH

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh ha s said that 2016 T-20 cricket  worldcup match between India and Pakistan should not be held in Dharamsala. He said, “ we have written to the home ministry regarding this matter.”

According to the reports state government is not able to provide security to Pakistani team. Earlier on Monday Himachal Pradesh Congress asked BCCI either to cancel the T20 world cup match or shift it to any other state.

HP congress committee criticized secretary of BCCI and BJP MP Anurag Thakur for holding the match in Dharamshala. He said, “ BCCI either shift the match or cancel the match to honour the sentiments of families of martyrs.”

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairmen Shahryar Khan was said that it is jointly responsibility of BCCI and ICC to ensure the security of Pakistan cricket team during world cup. Adding in this he said, “ We got the permission from our government to go for T20 worldcup in India. Now the security is India’s responsibility.”
