New Delhi: Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has attacked critics who accused him of conspiring to reduce the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) syllabus amid the global pandemic coronavirus. CBSE has reduced the syllabus by 30% for the board exam of 2020-21 session only for about 190 subjects from class 9 to 12. The board has said that no questions will be asked to the syllabus reduced in the exam.
The Union Minister of Education has told through a tweet, after the removal of some subjects from #CBSESyllabus, a lot of comments have come. The problem with these comments is that they are trying to make it sensational by adding false subjects. He says that people have created false pretenses to remove some subjects from the CBSE syllabus.
By reducing the CBSE syllabus of class 9-12 by 30%, on Tuesday uploaded the information of the deleted chapter along with the new syllabus on the website. After this, a new war broke out in this case. After which CBSE had to once again clarify.
There has been a lot of uninformed commentary on the exclusion of some topics from #CBSESyllabus. The problem with these comments is that they resort to sensationalism by connecting topics selectively to portray a false narrative.
