Huawei has received the registration of the new Harmony trademark at the European Union's Intellectual Property Office. Obviously, it will be called the mobile operating system, formerly known as Hong Kong.

Chinese from Hong Kong is translated as "Red Dream", while in English Harmony means "Harmony." It is clear that there is a more delicious second option for the European consumer. Earlier, Huawei considered several other titles, including Arc OS and Oak OS.

Huawei is looking for a replacement of Android due to problems with U.S. authorities that have banned local companies from cooperating with a Chinese manufacturer. The new Huawei OS will be compatible with a variety of devices including smartphones, tablets, computers, TVs, portable electronics, smart speakers and car dashboards. In China, the platform will be ready by the end of 2019 and its international version - by the middle of 2020.
