Huawei to work with Aptoide to replace Google Play

In connection with the US sanctions imposed on Huawei, Google announced the termination of cooperation with the Chinese tech giants, which was one of the most unexpected and discussed the news of recent days. At the same time, it does not look like Huawei plans to simply put up with it, the company bravely took the blow and is already taking the necessary steps to protect its users. Recently, Huawei is in talks with Aptoide to replace the Play Store application on its mobile devices. This news was voiced by Aptoide CEO Paulo Trezentos, while he emphasizes that no final agreements have been reached at the present time.

However, there is no doubt about the success of the negotiations, especially if we consider that Huawei representatives have already announced that they are preparing to release an alternative operating system for their smartphones. Currently, Aptoide is already working with other companies, for example with Oppo, while the company is located in Portugal and the bans of the United States Government cannot influence its decisions.

Huawei has its own application with programs for its devices, but it includes much less software than Aptoide, which currently has almost a million different applications.
