The TV show Hum Paanch has returned to the small screen from 13 April. This mega hit show of that era is now being retellcasted during lockdown. We were the first project of Ekta Kapoor. Bhairavi Raichura is very excited about the show's broadcast. Bhairavi used to play the role of Kajal Mathur in this show. While talking about the show in an interview, Bhairavi recalled all the times when she was first brought to the set and how she had learned the character. While talking to a media reporter, she told, "I remember when I met Ekta Kapoor and Kapil ji (the director of the show), I was 16 years old. It was just a meeting. There was no audition, no casting.'

She further said, "He called me and told me that I have to do this role. Later I came to know that this character was in his mind. A girl who lives like boys and behaves like boys. Her personality does not make her brother, but her behavior makes her brother. Kajal said that she did not know what she was cast thinking but she started preparing for this character. While there, she used to train for this and Kapil used to teach her. She recalled how Kapil had once told her that son forget that you are a girl. Bhairavi also remembered that anecdote when the truckers started calling him Kapil Bhai. The thing is when we were shooting outside the bungalow one day."

Bhairavi told, "There were 2-3 trucks that suddenly stopped and the drivers gave me Kajal bhai salute while saying. Whereas to be honest, it was very gratifying but also a bit embarrassing for me. It was a bit embarrassing for a 16-17 year old girl. "While there, she told that it used to be at 9 in the morning but I used to reach barely 5 minutes earlier because I had to put on a shirt with just a cap. Jeans used to be worn from home at many times."
